The Scottsdale Unified School District has 31 schools serving about 26,000 students. More than 3,000 people are employed by the district, including about 1,700 teachers.


The district celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1996. Its
boundaries include most, but not all, of the city of Scottsdale, almost all of the town of Paradise Valley, a section of the city of Phoenix and a section of the city of Tempe. 

The Fountain Hills Unified School District has earned a reputation for excellent academic programs, noteworthy student achievement,
and high levels of parent and community involvement. Over the past several years the district has earned respect throughout the state as a small, friendly, high
achieving district with well-trained and motivated staff.

The Paradise Valley Unified School District has 31 elementary schools, eight middle schools and six high schools


The district is located in 98-square miles of northeast Phoenix and a portion of north Scottsdale. This area extends from 7th Avenue to Pima Road and is generally bordered on the south by Northern Avenue and the north by Jomax Road. With 33,500 students, we are the seventh-largest school district in the state of Arizona.

The Chandler Unified School District is located in the Southeastern part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Chandler Unified serves 38,000 students in grades K-12 and encompasses 80 square miles, though not all of the City of Chandler.  Due to a booming city population and open enrollment laws, Chandler Unified is one of the fastest-growing districts in the state.  The district has opened 21 schools since 1998 and now consists of of 29 elementary schools, 7 junior highs, 4 high schools and 2 alternative schools.

The district's serene, rural atmosphere is the background for personalized attention designed to develop the potential of each student.
The District  encompasses 175 square miles including the towns of Cave Creek, Carefree, Maricopa County, North Phoenix and Scottsdale.  Approximately 5800 students attend grades Pre-K - 12 through 5 elementary, 1 middle and 1 high school.  309 Teachers call the district home, 21 of whom are National Board Certified.
